Wearamin

(wearable theremin) I designed the garment around how I intended the performance to go. This over-top zips up the front and is only attached to the skirt at the front. The side seams have been left open and only close with a safety pin. For the performance, I turned on the theremin and then slowly unzipped the zipper. Then I removed the safety pins and slipped the top over my head and then safety pinned the garment to the skirt waist.

The theremin is stored in the sheer pocket with openings for the solar cell and the photo cell. The photocell controls vibrato while the solar cell controls pitch. There is also a pocket for the battery.

Theremin Fail

Wearable Theremin Revisited

Printed the circuit on regular fabric so I have a guide when I'm ironing on the conductive fabric.
Printed the circuit on the back of the fusible interfacing that I attached to the conductive fabric and will cut out the circuit with an xacto
