Amsterdam, Day 4

Yarn Bombing in Amsterdam
Yarn Bombing in Amsterdam
Went to the mrqt today. It was the best grocery store/market I have ever been to. They had the mose amazing selection of yummy food- pomegranate yogurt, berry granola that turns your milk pink, salami, ginger beer, fresh baked bread(you could see the guys kneading it!), pastries, etc. After that we headed to STEIM for our first lecture. It was on the history/archiving of STEIM. Then we had a short lunch break and what was supposed to be our second workshop. Unfortunately, none of us had any form of instrument ready to play, so the guy gave us a lecture on different instruments that have been built at STEIM and then we told him a bit about ourselves and our projects. I am the only one who stuck to their original proposal. After the workshop, decided to take a walk around Amsterdam.
Superman's favorite vacationing spot!
Awesome second hand store we stumbled upon. They had a ton of cool vintage sewing machines and irons and the biggest shears I have ever seen.

Going into Rotterdam tomorrow at 3 to meet Piem, the director of V2 and to meet the Smart Textiles class at the Willem de Kooning Academie.
